About Me

I’m Hannah Burkholder, and I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. From a young age, people noticed my “creative eye,” and their kind words nurtured my confidence. However, it was the loss of my father when I was young that truly shaped my connection to photography. He left me his camera, and through that lens, I discovered the power of preserving memories. It quickly became more than a hobby; it became a way to hold onto the moments that matter most.

Carrying that camera everywhere, I fell in love with storytelling through images. Over the years, photography continued to grow from a passion into a purpose. Three years ago, I took the leap and turned that passion into Hannah B. Photography, turning something I had loved for years into a business of my own. What started with a camera and a dream has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m grateful every day that I get to do what I love.

To honor that purpose, I pursued certifications in Digital Photography, Portraiture, and Composition. My work was recognized in the 2023 C1M Academy Art Exhibition, which was an incredible milestone that motivates me to continually push creative boundaries and grow as an artist. Photography has taught me to savor life’s fleeting moments and to always look for the beauty in the everyday.

When I’m not photographing, you’ll likely find me exploring scenic trails, tackling DIY projects, or enjoying live music at concerts with friends. Although, I do tend to document those moments too! At home, I dedicate my life to my six adorable cats, Arlo, Estella, Cosmo, Apollo, Atlas, and Iris. I also love to spoil my two hamsters, Simon and Felix, who seem to have the same sleep schedule as I do!
